Welcome to Iowa Lyme Disease Network
The Iowa Lyme Disease Network's mission is to educate
Iowa medical providers and the public about Lyme disease and
other tick-borne illnesses in Iowa, to be a resource center and
support for patients and their families, and to advocate for
medical research of tick-borne diseases.
What is Lyme disease?

North America and Europe. Lyme disease is caused by a

worldwide. The occurrence of Lyme
disease in Iowa resembles the national trend reflecting
increasing cases of Lyme borreliosis at an alarming rate.
Tick-borne illnesses can be serious and disabling.
